What are your hours of operation ?
Our office hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., we are closed on weekends.   Our mobile Live Scan service is available 24 hours a day, seven-days a week.
Q:
What are my payment options ?
We accept payment in the form of cash, Cashier's Check, corporate or business checks, and Money Order.
Q:
Are billing accounts available ?
Billing of services and prepaid accounts are available to businesses and organizations that use Live Scan fingerprinting on a regular basis. 
Q:
Are appointments required ?
No, appointments are not required; however, those who make appointments are given priority over walk-ins.
Q:
What do I bring with me to have my fingerprints taken ?
  1. A valid government issued photo identification (e.g. California ID or driver license, out-of-state ID or driver license, U.S. passport, military ID, immigration card).
  2. The "Request for Live Scan Service Form" (provided by the requestor or agency).
  3. A method of payment (unless the requestor or agency has an account with us).
Q:
How long does the fingerprinting process take ?
On average, the Live Scan technician takes 15 minutes to digitize and submit your fingerprints. Live Scan results are usually available within three to six business days.
Q:
How can I check the status of my Live Scan fingerprints ?
The Department of Justice Automated Applicant Respond System (916- 227-4557) can be use to determine the status of applicant fingerprints submitted.  You will be able to check the status of your Live Scan fingerprints using the Department of Justice  Automated Applicant Respond System after the Live Scan technician has successfully transmitted your digitalized fingerprints. 

The system is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Please note that you will be required to enter the ten character Automated Transaction Identifier (ATI) number and your date of birth.  The ATI # is located at the bottom of the "Request for Live Scan Service Form".
Q:
I received a letter which states, "you fingerprints ... were rejected." what is your policy in regards to resubmitting fingerprints ?

If your fingerprints were rejected due to poor quality, we will resubmit them at no charge. All you will need to do is bring us the letter of rejection and a valid government issued photo identification.
